W

Wasur3naid3 and I sung a segment from the song “W,” which was originally performed by JYJ in their recent concert, for a fanproject. Unfortunately, the video with the project instructions has been removed from YouTube due to copyright infringement (it featured a performance of “W” with English and Spanish subs), so I don’t know if the project is still ongoing or not. If it is, I should be able to post the completed project here later. For now, though, here’s our video:

Pause ≠ Disbandment!!!

I know this is a really hard time for all of us, but that is all the more reason to keep believing. Faith isn’t faith without trial.

Now I don’t have any inspiring poems of my own to post write now, but those of other Cassiopeians abound. Instead, what I’m posting here is a video I put together for an International Valentine’s dance I organized back in February. The vision was to have international MVs playing as the music, so of course I wanted to put a lot of our boys on the list. One of the songs, however – the acapella version of “Stay With Me Tonight” – didn’t have a music video to go with it. SO I put one together out of clips from the non-acapella version’s MV. Here it is; enjoy, and always keep the faith!

JaeHoMin Birthday Post!

A sudden test was sprung on me and compounded with some other things kind of ate away my time, so here is a late joint birthday post for our three favorite Aquarii!

First, here is the Jaejoong pic I promised—that should please both Jaejoong and Yunho ;)

Jaejoong Drawing

Obviously, the right half is my work…

For Changmin, I have a lame poem. Sorry, but it’s the only one I’ve got right now that’s exclusively about him…

To My Allusive Dream of You

How can I hope to win you by looks?
I can see your eyes:
they are made of glass.
The man who blew them
thought to imitate
wildflowers amid the grass,
but filling them with living fire
he burnt them brown
and found this more brilliant
than color itself, and all other shades
falling before them
fell for them
consumed by the fire they made.
But, superior, all advances they spurn,
all colors they burn to hue-less gray
by the fire they make.

They turn instead to the colors
they can show the ears with
air and not with fire.

But how can I hope to win you by sounds?
I can hear your voice:
it is shattered glass.
The note that broke it
thought to avenge
the flowers you turned back,
but swept by the singing wind
they chimed sweet sounds
and pierced the hearts of all around,
and mine
beating against it
sang with it
moved by the currents that swept the shards.
They pierce my soul, bright and sharp;
and hook my heart. Those currents fan the flames.

But my own voice would only taint
the perfect note yours has made.

And fire would but die with water,
wind be but turned back by earth;
If I cannot win you by the senses
I must seduce you with my words.

Perhaps if you could read them
you would laugh at such a thought—
but I'd like to think if I could make you
feel them, rather, you would not...

On a finishing note, Wasur3naid3 and I recently participated in the We Believe Project, hosted by Phoenix (TVXQ’s unofficial European fanclub) and 5GOE. You can watch the final video in the link; below is a sort of mashup of the videos we made for the project, plus goofing off at the beginning and end.

In closing:

<bias> HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANGMIN!! <3 </bias>

300,000 Videos and Happy Late Birthday!

I wanted to post a drawing of Jaejoong for his birthday, but my roommate’s scanner won’t scan to my computer—so that will have to wait till the weekend when can use my scanner at home. But just so you know we didn’t forget,

HAPPY (belated, as usual) 24th/25th BIRTHDAY, KIM JAEJOONG!(Your picture will be up presently. ^^;)

Now on to the next item of business:

I’m sure many of you have already seen this video, but I just wanted to help spread the news:

(5) Choose “entertainment” category.
(6) Please do not use any images infringing copyright.

(credit for these instructions goes to oneTVXQ, where I found them.)

I just recently finished my own (the audio is a little weak, so you will probably have to turn it up to hear) and I hope every fan that reads this will follow suit:

The Neomyth

The new myth of Cassiopeia
brings our heroes now to make their choice:
they are the Gods the Queen once scorned
with misplaced vanity in her voice.
Now repenting, her skeleton of stars
in the sky above flushes red as Mars
as she sees the astronomical mistake
that in praising her beauty o'er theirs she did make.

She reveres now and loves them as is her place—
And through their journey gives them aid
as they seek the greatness that is their fate.

Because now you, these heroes, like all on such roads
have reached—or yet crossed!—the thresh hold of “known”
and are come to the trials you must pass to grow.

So, New Gods Rising in the East,
rivals of Apollo who shares your path:
Outdo him—even in the skills he made!—
as you do the sun his car draws aft.
Surpass that sun with the stars by your side,
and be the power that gives us life:
rising in the East, setting in the West,
spreading light to the North and South you pass—

or become at least your very best.
Though the sun shone brighter we would love you better,
more luminous in our eyes than can light express.

YouTube Channel and All About International Cassiopeia

Cassiopeian Moon (that is, Wasur3naid3 and I) have recently revamped our YouTube channel—which basically just involved uploading all the projects we have recorded to date. We are still working on subtitling some of the material, however. We should be posting all uploaded videos to the blog as well—but all in due time. On that note, here is one of our most recent uploads with some context.

This video was made for and submitted to the All About International Cassiopeia Project hosted by O! (inspired by the AADBSK series). I would highly recommend all of these videos (clicking on the title will take you to the YouTube playlist—there are 13 videos of 10 minutes each). I’ve almost finished watching them, and never cease to be amazed by how talented Cassiopeians are—it must have something to do with the quality of their source material, don’t you think? ^o~

Our clip is featured in the 5th video, at about 6:35
I am also in the 11th video, talking about what TVXQ means to me, starting at about 3:00

One day I wrote their name upon the strand...

...and then I got my mom to take a picture of it!
(OK, so that's not how the poem goes. But it is what happened!)

The "strand" here is Taino Beach in the Bahamas.

Happy (very) belated anniversary, DBSK!
Hwaiting!

Fansong Project

Regarding the post below. . .
I had been meaning to put the International Fansong Project Video here, as it is a massive fanwork that both Wasur3naid3 and had a small hand in making--that is, we added our voices to the menagerie of other fans' to create a more global picture of DBSK's fans.
Here is that video, along with the one advertised below. Both were compiled and edited by Catherine.
